We were very saddened when former Cygnet Managing Director Pete Dowse died in early 2014. He leaves a wife Gillian and two sons.

Pete graduated from Cambridge in Maths and Management. A period in management services with Rolls Royce and in providing computer support for education led to 25 years in leadership, consulting and training, including a spell as Chief Executive in the voluntary sector.

Pete was involved with Cygnet from its inception, developing the Cygnet Birmingham subsiduary and later serving as MD of Cygnet until the end of 2008. Pete worked with a range of clients at all levels including with SMTs and Boards.
